PMI Global Summit, Los Angeles, 18-21 September 2024

PMI’s largest event of the calendar is moving to LA this year. Honestly, if you can only go to one event, and you’re not bothered about it being an Agile-focused or PMO-focused event, then I would highly recommend the PMI conferences.

PMI definitely know how to wow with their events and this will be an amazing gathering of thought leaders. Worth checking out if you can make it (preferably if your company is funding travel, accommodation and the entrance ticket!).

The ProjectSummit Business Analyst World is one of the biggest North American conferences for PMs and BAs. These are a series of summits held in different North American cities and each of the conferences includes hands-on workshops, educational sessions and the ability to earn PDUs and CDUs.

The Boston, MA Summit is the 4th in-person one of the year.

The PMO Leader Global Conference: Virtual, 18 October 2023

The PMO Leader Global Conference will be held on three different regional schedules, APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, with participants able to attend the sessions that work for them and their interests.

The DPM Summit from Bureau of Digital is a really popular event for digital project managers to attend.

Деловая программа второго дня традиционно была разделена на два параллельных потока «Секция Практика управления проектами» и кейсовый блок – «Секция Живой менеджмент проектов».

В секции «Практика управления проектами» были подняты наиболее актуальные проблемы повышения эффективности реализации проектов сегодня:

• пути повышения производительности в строительстве,
• практики по анализу рисков для определения расчетного размера проектных резервов, управления изменениями; успешный опыт апробации зарубежных практик и программных продуктов в рамках крупных индустриальных проектов. Не обошли стороной и вопросы импортозамещения и разработки собственных корпоративных решений, представляющих, подчас, промежуточный вариант до момента вывода на рынок специализированных импортонезависимых разработок, в том числе продукта ПМСОФТ – PM.planner, который заменит (и существенно превзойдет) зарубежный аналог – OraclePrimavera, сохранив при этом большинство интерфейсных, методологических и функциональных фишек, которыми так славилась линейка P6 EPPM для опытных и искушенных пользователей.

В рамках секции «Живой менеджмент проектов» ведущие консультанты АО «ПМСОФТ» и приглашенные партнеры выступили с успешными кейсами внедрения информационных систем и цифровых инструментов управления проектами и стоимостного инжиниринга. В докладах были представлены новинки в рамках дорожных карт развития флагманских продуктов ПМСОФТ – PM.customer, PM.portal и PM.planner; отдельно были рассмотрены успешные апробации зарубежных решений для российского бизнес-сообщества и вопросы организационной зрелости компаний, выбирающих те или иные платформы и цифровые продукты для автоматизации существующих процессов управления проектами.

Деловая программа второго дня завершилась выездным заседанием экспертного сообщества по реализации EPC-проектов (www.epcrf.ru). Задача сообщества – развитие законодательной базы, которая закрепляла бы основополагающие принципы управления проектами с использованием интегрированных контрактов ЕРС/EPCM, а также развитие профессионального сообщества, развитие компетенций, консолидация и распространение лучших отечественных практик, определение цифровой платформы для управления ЕРС-проектами, обучение и развитие компетенций руководителей и проектных команд.

Ярким событие стало обсуждение выхода национального стандарта «Управление крупными строительными проектами с использованием интегрированных контрактов ЕРС».

На заседании выступили:

• Игорь Перевощиков, Директор программ по контрактной работе в Дирекции закупок и капитального строительства, ПАО «Газпром нефть». Тема: «Управление изменениями при реализации крупных строительных проектов. Практические кейсы»
• Андрей Лебедев, Директор Блока Проектного Контроля ООО «УК «РУСХИМ». Тема: «Формирование и управление Проектными командами при реализации крупных проектов по схеме EPC»

II командный турнир «Кубок конференции»

Этот турнир по практикам управления проектами и стоимостного инжиниринга проектных команд из России и СНГ стал первым в плеяде обучающих сессий Конференции в 2023 году. В этом турнире за звание лучших из лучших боролись пять проектных команд, сформированных ведущими компаниями России: ПАО «ЕВРАЗ», АО «Мосинжпроект», ООО «Газпромнефть-Развитие», АО «Зарубежнефть», АО «РЭИН Инжиниринг». Каждая команда была сформирована из лучших кадров, которые показали эффективную работу, с максимальной самоотдачей и нацеленность на результат.

В этом году команды на примере одного из строительных объектов в «боевом режиме» и «полевых условиях» продемонстрировали свои способности применять знания, практические навыки, проявлять интуицию и обнажать командный дух в процессе решения реальных проектных заданий в строительстве.

В связи с вышесказанным задания турнира в этом году стали более сложными в техническом плане. Командам необходимо было реализовать условный строительный проект и продемонстрировать наличие компетенций, владение знаниями и навыками работы с импортозамещенным программным обеспечением.

Четыре этапа, учет рисков, ресурсный просчет проекта и, конечно, в рамках отведенного бюджета – команды на протяжении 8 часов показывали высокий класс управления проектами. Реализация проекта проходила в формате цифровой бизнес-игры с использованием имитационных макетов информационных систем по управлению проектами (разработка графиков, оценка и управление стоимостью, управление рисками, проектная аналитика) в сопровождении консультантов ПМСОФТ.

Состязались лучшие из лучших — с небольшим отставанием друг от друга к финишу пришли три команды.

1. Первое место — ООО «Газпромнефть-Развитие»
2. Второе – ПАО «ЕВРАЗ»
3. Третье – АО «Зарубежнефть»

10th IPMA Research Conference

The International Project Management Association boasts of having over 72 member associations across the globe. Their 10th IPMA Research Conference will focus on the value of co-creation in project management. The organizers described the upcoming event as a symposium for professionals to exchange ideas. One of their objectives is to encourage dialogue and discussions between the participants.

Emerging trends in project management, business projects, digitalization, and project society will be some of the significant issues that will take center stage at the conference.

Project Management Symposium: College Park, MD, USA, 18-19 April 2024

This two-day event is hosted by the University of Maryland’s Project Management Center of Excellence. The Project Management Symposium gathers Project Management Professionals from all over the United States and across the globe to discuss trending topics, best practices, case studies, and academic research. There are in-person, virtual and hybrid options.

12th IPMA Research Conference: College Park, Maryland, USA, 19-21 April 2024

The theme for the IPMA research conference is Project Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. This will be staged around thematic workshops and round tables, targeting innovations, networking, and building trust in the science and project management community. 

The host is the International Project Management Association (IPMA) which is a Federation of 72 Member Associations (MAs) worldwide.
